In the field of training and dissemination of knowledge, the Lilly Foundation is pleased to present MEDES Initiative, which aims to help promote scientific publication in biomedical journals in Spanish, and to foster their national and international dissemination and use by various research , training and dissemination activities.
A fundamental part of the initiative is the Database MEDES-Medicine in Spanish. This is an online query tool in clear aim to make both the caregiver and the documentation specialist librarian or bibliographical biomedical, a source that allows you to easily an effectively to retrieve selected medical journal references and the direct access to the full text.
The primary objectives of MEDES-Medicine in Spanish, are the quality and relevance of the titles in the database and update it weekly.
The database contains bibliographic references published in more than 60 Spanish journals of medicine and pharmacy,
through a thorough selection process. You can search in a simple and intuitive way for the user through the different search options: simple, advanced, magazine and incomplete reference, and also offers a tool to configure alerts, clipboard, etc.
